English version

Are you passionate about culture and diversity? And are you interested in being part of next year’s cultural festival? When you might be the one, we’re looking for.

We are looking for new volunteers who want to be part of our amazing workgroup that every year organizes and plans Gladsaxe Loves Culture.

Gladsaxe Loves Culture is a colorful festival focusing on diversity and culture. The festival is being held here at the local culturehouse, Telefonfabrikken the first Saturday of June. In 2020 the date is set for Saturday, June 6th.

Every year a bunch of cultural actors, local associations and the integration council joins Telefonfabrikken in the making of a festival that presents art, tradition and culture from all over the world for the city’s citizens. Last year there were just under 20 nationalities represented at the festival and the audience could experience music, dance, arts, crafts, fashion etc. from all over the world.

The vision with Gladsaxe Loves Culture is to alienate the overshadowing discussion of cultural dissimilarity and instead cultivate people’s curiosity regarding diversity as a meaningful and necessary element in their local community.

As part of your assignments in the workgroup, you will be planning and developing the festival concept. Furthermore, you will assist the voluntary actors/associations on the day of the festival as well as promote the festival itself. We want to go back to the drawing board and therefore you’re more than welcome to think completely new thoughts – maybe even a totally new concept. The ball is your court and we are willing to change it up.

If you would like to help us then please contact Betina Louise Kimergaard at mail: beloki@gladsaxe.dk or phone +45 61658454.

We sincerely hope to hear from you
